Why does my kitty have such a bad Cattitude? I want to hold her, but noooo?
she even clawed my eye and is acting like she wants no part of me. I been training her for almost 2 years to tolerate me. but the handling is no go. what can I do? she does not respond to toys. she has allowed me to pet under her neck, and used to let me hold her tail , but she's mad i tried to pick her up to my shoulder. ouch.
Some cats want to do everything their own way, Stop trying to train her and start ignoring her, if she comes and lays by you just say hi, and leave her alone. When she wants attention she will let you know, my Pouka was the same way and I rescued him off the highway! My son he was all over but me, nope. Finally before I got sick he started sleeping with me, and when I sat and watched tv he would sit on the back of the couch and let me pet his hand, he loved it when I slid milk bottle caps under the bathroom door and he would slide them back, then he got to where he would sit by my right side and KittyKat sat by my left, then I could scratch his ears, It was a slow process but it worked out well.
