Simple Kitchen Ideas Backsplash: Travertine Backsplash?
I'm doing in a kitchen backsplash with travertine POTUS is 4 "tile pennys .. Using a spacer Counters are granite DIY from Bedrock Creations, neat system. Using unsanded grout Summer Wheat. Should I seal travertine before grouting to prevent grout absorbs too much? Thank you!
You must use a 3 layer Sealer during this process ... one before installation .. second after install but before grouting ... grouting and all third one dry thoroughly and put the third coat you should be good for two years, depending on how much you use the space. I recommend that you do not use "money" for the spacer, the weight of tile will bear down upon them, so a bit difficult to remove them and worst yet you can very easily cause the place to come out or chip in an attempt you to remove them. I suggest you get a bit like a small "slices" which are designed to be easily removed after the stone has been set.
