what do you recommend economically; jacuzzi tub or outside hot tub?
Purchasing a new home and thinking of remodeling the bathroom to add a tub w/ jets or leaving the bathroom w/ its traditional tub and purchasing a hot tub for the large deck. What do you think if you are familiar w/ the advantages and disadvantages of both?. Love hot baths w/ oils and bubbles ---long soaks.
If you love soaking in hot baths I would put the money in a nice tub. While you're at it add soft lighting for use while you're soaking, or put existing lights on dimmer. Here are a few pros and cons of choosing a hot tub vs a standard jetted tub.
Hot Tub pros: Great in colder weather, good for after exercise, always ready to use, room for friends, uses less water overall than an indoor tub.
Hot Tub cons: More expensive to maintain than tub, may not get used as much in warmer weather, usually can't add bath salts, bubbles etc.
