whether it would be uncomfortable to have a water birth in my bathtub at home is not a waterpool?
My husband is a medical doctor so that the side of safety treated but I want the birth of water but do not want to have to have waterpool because I do not feel safe in it (they blow and I feel as though they would explode)! LOL. So can I just fill the bath tub at home and give birth in it or will it not comfortable and would be freezing cold water when I actually give birth? What can I put it there to make it more comfortable? "Plants" My husband is a medical general practitioner he was more qualified then the midwife or nurse
I've heard about women trying this. Most of them have come out, because they can not move freely or orient themselves in such a way to get comfortable. Over the last delivery I am, I went into the tub at the beginning, and I do not know if it was just me, but I found it did not help at all. Mind you, it's pretty fast contraction of the total work time 1 hour and a half. It also depends on how big your tub, and how long you'll be in it. I would not recommend getting until you are at the end of the middle stage. Mind You, you may be less wimpy than me when something is out of the bits I felt it should not.
